There are two ways to treat scratches on the surface of acrylic products: 1 is cold polishing method, 2 is flame polishing. Minor scratches can be wrapped in a cotton cloth with some toothpaste, and it can be wiped vigorously.
1. Generally, small scratches on the surface of transparent acrylic can be wiped with suede and toothpaste, and can be recovered by repeatedly wiping several times.
2. If it is a deep scratch:
1) Water sandpaper (the finest), add water to smooth the scratch and its surroundings,
2) Rinse with water, and then wipe with suede and toothpaste.
3) If you can still see scratches, it means that the depth of sandpaper polishing is not enough, and it must be operated again.
Attention:
The surface of the water sandpaper will be atomized after grinding, and the degree of water sandpaper grinding can be restored after wiping with toothpaste, according to the depth of the scratch.
You can use an electric waxing machine with a car, dip in toothpaste and polish, and quickly remove scratches on the surface of the acrylic.
