What is the difference between conductive silicone and antistatic silicone?

2022-06-02
Latest company news about What is the difference between conductive silicone and antistatic silicone?

Conductive silicone rubber usually means that the volume resistance is within 10 to the 9th power of ohm cm. Conductive rubber is divided into anti-static conductive rubber.

1.The surface resistance of antistatic silicone rubber products reaches 10 to the power of 5-12, which is an antistatic level. Within the 9th power of 10, the 6-8th power of 10 is permanent, but the performance of the raw material will deteriorate, and the 9th power of 10 is short-term antistatic.
2.The surface resistance of conductive silicone rubber products is less than 10 to the 5th power, which is the conductive level. The volume resistivity is generally 3-10Ω·cm, the relative density is 1.15, the hardness (Shore A) is 60, the tensile strength is 5.7MPa, and the relative elongation is 265%. It can be mixed and mixed with methyl vinyl silicone rubber (raw rubber), white carbon black, conductive filler, structure control agent and organic peroxide. When the volume resistance is less than 10 ohm cm, the conductive rubber has electromagnetic shielding function.

Many silicone products are used in electronic and electrical components, which must be antistatic. Antistatic agents can be added when producing silicone products.
