How to distinguish between conductive silicone and antistatic silicone?

Latest company news about How to distinguish between conductive silicone and antistatic silicone?

Generally, silicone products require insulation and conductivity, so how to distinguish between conductive silicone and antistatic silicone?

The surface resistance value of insulating silicone products reaches 10 to the 12th power or more is the insulation level. (There must be many people who think: 10 to the fifth power below is conductive, 5 to the ninth power is anti-static, and more than 9 power is insulation.)

Conductive silicone rubber usually refers to a volume resistance within 9 ohms of 10. Conductive rubber is divided into anti-static grade conductive rubber

1. The surface resistance value of antistatic silicone rubber products reaches 10 to the power of 5-12 between the antistatic level. Within 10 to the 9th power, between 10 to the 6-8 power is permanent but the raw material performance will deteriorate, more than 10 to the 9th power is short antistatic.

2. The surface resistance of conductive silicone rubber products reaches 10 to the fifth power below the conductive level. The volume resistivity is generally 3 ~ 10Ω·cm, the relative density is 1.15, the hardness (Shore A) is 60, the tensile strength is 5.7MPa, and the relative elongation is 265%. It can be made of methyl vinyl silicone rubber (raw rubber), white carbon black, conductive filler, structural control agent and organic peroxide. When the volume resistance is less than 10 ohcm, the conductive rubber has electromagnetic shielding function.
