LEGO has announced an expansion of its business in China

Global Silicone Network, January 6th: In order to further promote the long-term development of business in China and Asia, the Lego Group (LEGO) announced that it will expand its factory operations in Jiaxing City, China, and create more production capacity. Currently, the LEGO Group's factory in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province has approximately 1,200 employees. The expansion project will include the addition of an elevated automated three-dimensional warehouse, the addition of injection molding facilities and workshops for processing Lego block pellets. A total of 42,000 square meters will be added to the existing base, and potential production capacity will be significantly increased. The factory expansion project has begun and is expected to be completed in 2024.
