Sublimation Printing – In this process, the dyes used are solid at room temperature but turn into gasses when transferred onto the item being printed on. The dyes are injected into the substrate, usually silicone, and then heated until they turn back into solid form, leaving a colorized design on the substrate.

Screen Printing – This process requires the use of a screen stencil. The screen is made of mesh fabric, and a negative image of the desired product is printed onto the mesh fabric and cured. The mesh fabric is then stretched onto a frame and places into a screen printing machine. Ink is then manually pushed through the mesh openings, creating an imprint onto the substrate.

Pad Printing – Also known as ‘tampon printing’, this method uses a silicon pad and stencil to transfer ink from the pad onto the substrate. The ink is transferred from the pad to the substrate by repeatedly pressing onto the desired area and then lifting off. This process can print onto curved surfaces as well.

Laser Engraving – This is the process of using a high-powered laser beam to remove the silicone material from the substrate, leaving behind an imprint of the desired design. The laser heats up the silicone and melts it away, creating the intricate designs.

Thermo-Printing – Thermo-printing is the process of transferring a colored ink onto the silicone substrate. A ribbon is heated up, melting the ink and covering the substrate with the desired design.
