What is the resilience of rubber products?

Rubber is a viscoelastic material, that is, it has both high elasticity and viscosity. Usually, people refer to the resilience of rubber as elasticity. The rebound rate is used as an index to measure the adhesive resistance of rubber. The greater the activity of the vulcanized rubber crosslinking structure, the higher its resilience.

When manufacturing highly elastic rubber, the following points need to be considered in the formulation design:
1.Choose rubber with large molecular chain flexibility, such as natural rubber and butadiene rubber.
2.For the vulcanization system, the cross-linking density of vulcanized rubber should not be too large, and the amount of sulfur can be increased appropriately, but the use of speeding accelerators should be avoided.
3.The amount of filler should not be too much, and the amount of reinforcing agent should be appropriately reduced.
4.For softening accelerators, the operating oil with large aromatics and high viscosity can reduce the elasticity, so the amount should not be too much. However, ester plasticizers can increase the elasticity of NBR.
