Product Introduction
These conductive rubber keypads combine a 50 Shore A silicone rubber body with moulded carbon pills, giving a tactile response and a stable electrical contact on every keystroke. Each keypad is compression moulded to your 2D drawing or 3D file, so button layout, travel, actuation force and legend printing are built around your enclosure instead of adapted from a catalogue part. Carbon pills are post-cured and contact resistance tested before assembly, which keeps the keypad responsive on low-voltage control boards used in remote controls, industrial panels and medical devices.

FAQ
Q: What is your MOQ for a custom keypad?
A: 7,000 pieces per design. For a first trial order we accept 3,000 pieces of a single layout.
Q: Which files do you need for quotation?
A: A 2D drawing or 3D file, key layout, hardness, color and the required actuation force. A photo of the current keypad is enough for a first estimate.
Q: How long does sampling and production take?
A: 5-7 working days for a new tooling sample, 7-15 working days for mass production after sample approval.
Q: Can the contact resistance be lower than 100 Ohm?
A: Yes. With conductive carbon ink or gold plated contacts we reach 50 Ohm and below, depending on the circuit design.
Q: Do you support backlit keys and multi-color legends?
A: Yes. Laser etched backlight windows, silk screen legends and multi-color key tops are all available from the same tool.
Q: Are samples free?
A: Samples from existing tooling are free, you only cover the freight. New tooling samples are charged and the cost is deducted from the bulk order.
